Best Management Practices
The JEA Industrial Pretreatment program regulates discharges from many commercial facilities through Best Management Practices (BMPs) because they are an effective means of source control for pollutants. By effectively implementing BMPs many commercial businesses may avoid JEA environmental permits and the costs associated with maintaining the permit.

Discharges from the following facilities/processes are regulated through enforceable BMPs:
