Payment Option Guide

JEA accepts the following forms of payment -- personal check, money order, cash or cashier check.

Pay Online
Get details about your bill and pay online at jea.com.
Or, if you chose, you can pay through your online bill payment service.
JEA does not charge a service fee for paying your bill online.

NOTE:
Online utility billing for JEA eBill is provided through the third-party vendor Docucorp®. Online utility payments to JEA are through the third-party vendor CheckFree®.

E-Z Pay Plan
Pay your utility bills the EASY WAY - with E-Z Pay! The E-Z Pay Plan, JEA's electronic payment service, allows you to authorize your bank, credit union, or savings and loan to deduct your monthly utility bill automatically from your checking or savings account.

Pay by Phone
Call (904) 665-6000 and pay your bill using your checking account. JEA's automated bill payment system is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Pay in Person

  • Full Service Customer Care Centers
    Pay at one of our conveniently located Customer Care Centers. At these full service locations, not only can you pay your bill, you can also stop, start or transfer service. Representatives at our Customer Care Centers are available to provide the full range of services to our customers.

  • Payment Only JEA Authorized Payment Locations
    When convenience is what matters most, stop by one of over 60 JEA authorized payment-only locations. Located throughout our service areas, these locations allow you to pay in person closer to home or work, no matter where you live. Only JEA authorized payment only locations will credit your payment to your account within an hour.* Hours vary by location; please check our online map for locations and hours. You must bring your JEA bill or have your account number handy when visiting a payment-only location.

    * Payments made after 6 p.m. will be credited to your account at 7 a.m. the next business day. Payments made on weekends will be credited to your account at 7 a.m. Monday morning.
