Pay Your Bill Online
Avoid extra credit card processing fees when you pay directly from your bank*. You will need your bank's routing number and your account number. These numbers can be found along the bottom of a check. Step-by-step instructions will walk you through the process of submitting your account information. You have the option to store your account and routing numbers securely in your jea.com account for easy payment each month. If you do not wish to store these numbers on jea.com, simply enter the information each time you pay.
Remember, paying online with your bank* account means no extra fees!
Jea.com also accepts major credit and debit cards through our third-party vendor Bill2Pay, an Intuition Systems® Company. Please note, Bill2Pay charges a non-refundable fee of $4.95 for each credit and debit card transaction less than $400.
* All checking accounts are able to make ACH (Automated Clearing House) Payments, however, you should check with your financial institution for ACH availability for other types of bank accounts.
Schedule Your Online Payment In Advance
Planning to be out of town when your JEA payment is due? Or maybe you just like to plan ahead? You can now pre-schedule a payment up to 90 days in advance when paying with a bank account.
- Log into your JEA account, and click on Pay My Bill.
- Click on Pay by Bank Account (or Manage Bank Accounts if you haven't already saved a bank account).
- Select the account you would like to pay with, the amount you would like to pay, and then select a future payment date from the provided calendar.
It's that simple! We’ll send you an email to confirm your scheduled payment and when your payment is processed. Your payment will be processed by 5 pm on the day selected. If you need to cancel your scheduled payment, you must do so before 11 am on the day of your scheduled payment.
Our Auto Pay service ensures your JEA bill is paid on time, every time. Each month, you will receive your bill (by mail or eBill) as usual. Auto Pay then deducts the amount from your bank account on the due date indicated on your bill, relieving you of the chore of paying your bill.
Pay By Phone
If you have a checking or savings account or major credit card, you can make payments any time of day or night by phone. Call (904) 665-6000, have your bill and payment method handy, and follow the prompts. Payments are posted to your account immediately. For credit card payments, our third-party vendor Bill2Pay charges a non-refundable convenience fee of $4.95 per $400 transaction. There are no extra fees for paying with your checking or savings account.
Pay By Mail
Mail a check or money order along with your account number to JEA, P.O. Box 45047, Jacksonville, FL 32232-5047.
Neighborhood Payment Centers
When convenience is what matters most, stop by any area Winn-Dixie grocery store, Duval County Tax Collector's office or JEA authorized payment-only location (hours vary by location). These locations will credit your payment to your account within an hour. You must bring your JEA bill or have your account number handy when visiting any of these location.
