New Employee Orientation

Welcome to JEA Icon Welcome

We're so happy to have you on board. The information below includes important documents that will help you get started. As you navigate your way through New Employee Orientation, you'll learn the basics about our company history, products, culture, and your workspaces.

JEA Emergency Preparation & Responsibility: All JEA employees have "Blue Sky" and "Gray Sky" roles. When a storm knocks out power to our area, or even other states in the country, we work as quickly as safety permits to restore service so lives can get back to normal. Blue Sky roles are our day-to-day responsibilities, and Gray Sky roles are our responsibilities during emergency events only. You will learn more about your Gray Sky role during orientation. As a valued team and community member, we strongly encourage you to always be prepared with a plan to protect the people and things you value.
