Jammes Road at Sauterne Drive Sewer Improvement Project

Monday through Friday, 7:00. a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Note: Start and completion dates are highly subject to change, and in some circumstances, extended hours and weekends may be required. 

A contractor working for JEA (Callaway Contracting) will be working in your area to replace a portion of failing sanitary sewer main on Jammes Road between Sauterne Drive and Solandra Drive South. This work is necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer mains can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues. This work will require the removal of ground water with pump systems prior to excavation. These pump systems will operate continuously during the repairs.

For the safety of our crews and the general public, we will be required to temporarily close the parking lane on Jammes Road between Sauterne Drive and Solandra Drive South while this work is completed. Both travel lanes will remain open for the majority of the project. Select construction activities will require travel lane closures during the work day (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.).  

Residents will have access to their driveways and will be permitted to drive (with caution) through the project area. Please observe all construction signs, detours and general directions provided by the crews working on-site. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused by this construction work.
