Jacksonville, FL - JEA announced several departures today in an organizational change that reflects a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. In order to streamline JEA without as long a transition period as originally planned, five members of the executive team are departing as of December 10. Effective today, Brian Roche has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Water/Wastewater Systems.
The current three open executive positions are: Chief Customer Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
Also effective today, the following three directors will serve as the senior executives in their respective areas to assist in the organizational transition: Director of Emerging Workforce Strategies Walette Stanford (Human Resources); Director Meter Reading and Billing Sheila Pressley (Customer Relationship); and Director Procurement Services John McCarthy (Shared Services).
“Now JEA is set to move forward to accomplish our goal of improving customer satisfaction,” explained JEA CEO and Managing Director Paul McElroy.
