Replacement Program services to be completed. The scope of work is to include supervision, labor, equipment,
material and tools necessary to inspect, repair, replace or install water pumping systems limited to piping, pressure
tanks, electrical service and equipment that is directly associated with the mitigation of an impacted (Artesian) deep
well that is identified as part of JEA’s Well Mitigation Program. The vendor that can provide the items and services
contained within Appendix B – Response Workbook and provide the best value to JEA (the "Work" or "Services").
"Best Value" means the highest overall value to JEA with regard to pricing, quality, design, and workmanship.

The purpose of this solicitation is to select a vendor to replace the Fuel Dome “A” Boom Chute. The original chutes were 8mm plate with 10mm AR400 liner plates and bolted flanges. The new chute is to be fabricated from ½” thick through hardened plate with 3/8” A36 steel flanges.

Contractor Responsibilities - Material and labor to be provided by the Contractor.
• Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove the existing Fuel Dome “A” Boom Chute.
• Install new Fuel Dome “A” Boom Chute.
• If welding is required, all welding shall be in accordance with AWS D1.1 and the material suppliers’ specifications.

JEA Responsibilities
• Support the decommissioning of the existing equipment including any instrumentation and controls, isolation of energy including steam, water, and power to provide a safe work environment.
• Provide a project manager/coordinator to assist in the timely decommissioning of the old equipment and installation of the new equipment.

The purpose of this solicitation is to establish pricing for Pest Control Services for the suppression of indoor populations including, but not limited to, Insects [i.e., ants, roaches, water bugs, mites, silverfish, etc.], Flying Insects [ie. wasps, bees, yellow jackets, etc.] Wood Destroying Organisms [i.e., dry wood and subterranean termites, carpenter ants, etc.], and Rodents [rats, mice, squirrels, etc.]. Populations of the above pests must also be suppressed outside of JEA buildings that are within JEA property.  These services are to be provided at all sites listed within the Appendix B Response Workbook and follow the guidelines laid out within this technical specification document. A more detailed description of the Work is provided in the Technical Specifications included as an Exhibit to this Solicitation. The Services must be sufficiently comprehensive and of such a nature as to comply with the pertinent requirements of any and all Federal, State and local laws relating to public health and sanitation.  JEA sites are located primarily in Duval County, with some additional sites in St. Johns, Clay, and Nassau.  (The work to be performed by the Company includes all supervision, tools and equipment, as necessary for performing the Services.)

This contract is executed between JEA and the Company to perform emergency removal and disposal of all microbial contaminated materials including, but not limited to removal, cleaning, sanitizing, demolition, or other treatment, including preventive activities, of any microbial contaminated matter of greater than 10 square feet that was not purposely grown at that location.  The remediation objectives will be to remove building materials that have signs or suspicions of microbial contamination to provide a safe working and occupancy environment.  Appendix B - Response Workbook represents estimated annual quantity and is to be used as a guideline and not a guarantee of work.  The work will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.  JEA may take action to perform all or portions of the work in house and, thereby, reduce the Company workload and cost.  The following specifications are not intended to supersede Federal, State, or local regulations to which the Company must comply; nor are they intended to supersede or contradict content in the contract documents between JEA and the Contractor.

The Substation Oakwood Villa Circuit 555 addition project will add a new circuit 555 feeder by extending a partially existing 26kV bay to the distribution getaway structure. This project will add (1) distribution breaker equipment, (2) steel bus support structures, (1) distribution feeder getaway steel structure, and (9) hookstick switches. Approximately 37' of bus will be installed. Approximately 4-2” conduits will be installed from the new 26kV breaker equipment to the existing cable trench, and 1-1 ½” conduit will be installed from the existing trench to the existing 1-PH ac yard panel. The project also installs 2-6” conduits from the new distribution getaway structure to an existing manhole on the southeast corner of the substation, and installs 2-6” conduits from the southeast corner manhole to a manhole just outside the substation, located on the southwest corner. 1-6” knockout will be drilled into the west wall of the southeast corner manhole. 1-6” knockout will be drilled into the east wall of the southwest corner manhole. To install the 2-6" conduits, 215' of pavement must be cut open, then patched.
