Allandale Circle East Water Improvement Project

Project Objective
As part of the Small Diameter Pipe Replacement Program to modernize more than 200 miles of JEA’s existing potable water distribution system, JEA crews will soon be working in your area to replace portions of the existing water main on Allandale Circle North, Allandale Circle South, Allandale Circle East, Prospect Street and Prospect Street East. This work also includes the installation of four (4) new fire hydrants.
When completed, this project will provide increased water pressure, improved system reliability and enhanced fire protection to the area.
Construction Areas
Work will primarily occur in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way and easements.
Construction Conditions
Residents will be provided access to their driveways and will be permitted to drive (with caution) around the work area. There may be times when driveways are temporarily blocked while crews are working in the immediate area. Crews will knock on doors to provide time to move vehicles prior to blocking any driveways. Please observe all construction signs, detours and general directions provided by the crews working on-site.

Temporary Road Closure and Planned (Overnight) Water Outage - April 2-3
As part of this work, a planned overnight water outage will be required on Wednesday, April 2nd from 10:00 p.m. to Thursday, April 3rd at 3:00 a.m.
For the safety of our crews and the general public, we will be required to temporarily close Prospect Street between Prospect Street West and Allandale Circle North. Please see the work area and detour map below. This work is being completed overnight to avoid peak traffic periods.

rescheduled.
Planned Water Outages
Some customers may experience minor interruptions to their water service. JEA will notify customers at least 48-hours prior to any planned water outages.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the project has been completed. Any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
