JEA offers rebates for water-savings technologies to support Jacksonville’s reliable water supply today and for future generations.  Implementation of “water sense” can help all JEA business customers save water and money. Rebates are capped at $30,000 per year per customer tax id across all water measures.

Closed Title: Ice Machines
Open Text:

Upgrade your ice machine and save up to 25% of water usage. Plus, you can get a rebate of $300 for every 100 lbs. of ice that your qualified new ENERGY STAR commercial ice machine produces. Rebates are capped at 50% of the total project cost up to $7,000 per project. See program details on the JEA Ice Machine Overview Flyer.

Closed Title: Cooling Towers

Optimize your cooling tower to help reduce excess water waste. Plus, you can get a rebate of $8 for every 1,000 gallons per year of water waste you reduce. There is a $30,000/project cap. See program details on the JEA Cooling Tower Overview Flyer.

Replace your aging, inefficient water equipment and systems with efficient technologies that will reduce your water use and minimize costs. Water-efficient equipment can streamline operations, enhance workplace productivity, and improve employee comfort. Rebates are available for various types of technologies including faucets, showerheads, high-efficiency toilets and urinals, kitchen equipment such as waterless woks, and much more. Rebates are also available for custom water-saving projects that are unique and specific to your facility.  See program details on the JEA Water Efficient Technology Overview Flyer.

Closed Title: Trade Allies

JEA Business Rebates Program trade allies include manufacturers, manufacturer representatives, contractors, suppliers, engineering firms and vendors of eligible equipment who work with JEA to provide savings for various measures.

For electric rebates, customers must use a registered JEA Business Rebates Program trade ally except for emergency replacements of HVAC equipment with an incentive less $5,000.

For water rebates, only cooling towers require using a listed JEA Business Rebates Program trade ally. However, any electric measures receiving rebates through the Green Restaurant Program must follow the electric program requirements, including use of a registered trade ally.
