JaxReady Fest

Get ready for storm season with interactive demonstrations and experiences from JEA, the City of Jacksonville Emergency Preparedness Division and other partner agencies at this free, public event.

While JEA prepares throughout the year for hurricane season, we also work to ensure our customers are ready as well. Jacksonville residents will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn from JEA leaders and Ambassadors at JaxReady Fest, an interactive preparedness experience on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.

Attendees will be able to see JEA bucket trucks up close, get preparation tips and learn about JEA’s Restoration 1-2-3 power restoration process. JEA is a lead sponsor of this free community event, which will feature a wide range of engaging activities, educational workshops, and interactive demonstrations for residents of all ages.

Guests also will be able to see:

• Transformer changing demonstrations.
• Lineworker demonstrations.
• Water/Wastewater crew demonstrations.
• Touch-a-truck vehicles.
• Booth demonstrations on Restoration 1-2-3 and My JEA, our new smartphone app.
• Engage in fun activities for all ages, including scavenger hunts, preparedness games and giveaways.
