5806 - 5828 Ortega Farms Boulevard Sewer Improvement Project

JEA crews have restored a porttion of sanitary sewer main line and manhole between 5806 Ortega Farms Boulevard and 5828 Ortega Farms Boulevard. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups and roadway issues. 

Construction occurred in the City’s streets, rights-of-way and easements. In order for our crew to safely perform the necessary repairs, this work required the removal of ground water with pump systems prior to construction. These pump systems operated continuously during the repairs. 

For the safety of our crews and the general public, we were required to temporarily close Ortega Farms Boulevard on Saturday, July 20^th while this work was completed.
