Project Objective
JEA crews completed emergency repairs to a sanitary sewer manhole near 4803 Anvers Boulevard. This repair was necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer manholes can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
This work required the removal of ground water with pump systems prior to excavation.
For the safety of our crews and the general public, we were required to temporarily close Anvers Boulevard between London Bridge Lane and Boy Blue Road while these repairs were completed.

Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will take place typically 2-3 weeks after the manhole has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
