Arlingwood Avenue, Bordeau Avenue North, Cathchart Street, Jacinto Street, Lamanto Avenue South, Lamanto Avenue North, Lawfin Street South, Lone Star Road, Santalia Avenue, Starwan Drive East

Project Objective

JEA will be abandoning a small water main and reconnecting to an existing, larger sized water main located at eight intersections along Arlingwood Avenue from Bordeau Avenue North to Lone Star Road and the intersection of Starwan Road East and Lone Star Road. These intersections include: Bordeau Avenue North, Lawfin Street South, Jacinto Street, Lamanto Avenue South, Cathchart Street, Santalia Avenue, Lamanto Avenue North, and Starwan Drive East (located just off Lone Star Road). This project will include the transfer of your private individual water connection from the abandoned water main to the existing, larger water main. JEA will also install one new fire hydrant. When completed, this project will increase area water pressure, provide better system reliability and fire protection.

Construction Conditions

Construction will be done in the City's right of way and easements. There will be times when roads will have limited access while the water main is installed but the flow of traffic will be maintained.

Planned Water Outages:

Some customers will experience minor interruptions to their water service. JEA will notify customers 48 hours prior to any planned outages. Residents may also experience a brief (10 to 15 minutes) outage while crews transfer your home from the old water service to the new water service.

Restoration of Project Area

Upon completion of the project, any existing grass, curb, swales, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
