Arrowhead Drive Sewer Improvement Project

Project Objective
JEA crews replaced a portion of sanitary sewer main located near 10101 Arrowhead Drive. This repair was necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves the neighborhood. Failures to sewer mains can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
This work required the removal of ground water with pump systems prior to excavation. These pump systems operated continuously during the repairs.
For the safety of our crews and the general public, we were required to temporarily close and detour traffic on Arrowhead Drive to complete this work.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the project has been completed. Any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
