Broadway Avenue and Line Street Sewer Improvement Project
Project Objective
JEA replaced of 230 linear feet of the existing sanitary sewer gravity main on portions of Broadway Avenue and Line Street.These pipes had reached the end of their service lives and needed to be proactively replaced to increase the reliability of the sewer system and to prevent any future sewer main breaks.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in the City of Jacksonville rights of way, roads and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the new sewer main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
