NOTE: Start and completion dates are subject to change and in some circumstances, night, weekend and extended hours may be necessary.
Update: Completion date extended as JEA crews temporarily suspended construction activities to assist our friends in the panhandle recover from storm damage following Hurricane Michael.
Project Objective
JEA upgraded the existing water main on Cocoa Avenue between Century Street and Lamson Street. When completed, this project will increase water pressure and provide improved system reliability. This work also included the installation of three (3) new fire hydrants.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
