Dupont Avenue - Chester Avenue Water Main Extension Project

Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. NOTE: In some circumstances, weekend and extended hours may be necessary.
Project Objective
JEA extended an 8-inch water main on Dupont Avenue near Dupont Station Court to Chester Avenue near Safay Street. The new water main was connected to the existing water mains on Dupont Avenue and Chester Avenue. We also be installed one (1) new fire hydrant. Once completed, this project will provide improved system reliability and fire protection.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City’s streets, rights of way and easements. 
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the lines have been installed, tested and cleared for use. Any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways, or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to their pre-construction condition.
