Project Objective
A contractor (TB Landmark Construction) working for JEA relocated a portion of the existing water main located on Glen Mawr Road (from 2709 to 2729 Glen Mawr).
Due to the presence of several large trees and their extensive root systems, we relocated the water line to the opposite side of the street to prevent future damage from root intrusion. This project will improve the reliability of the water line that serves your neighborhood.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Once JEA has completed work to relocate the water line, the City of Jacksonville (COJ) will continue with road and drainage work, followed by restoration of the project area.
