Estimated Dates & Work Schedule
Anticipated End Date: 2023-12-29
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.*
*In some circumstances, extended hours and weekends may be required. Crews will not work on JEA holidays.
Project Objective
JEA crews replaced a failing sanitary sewer manhole near 6316 Harvin Road. This work was necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer manholes can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the new sewer manhole has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks disturbed during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
