Project Objective
JEA crews made emergency repairs to a portion of sanitary sewer main line near the intersection of Jessie Street and Haines Street. This repair was necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves the area. Failures to sewer mains can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
This work took place in City of Jacksonville roads, rights-of-way and easements.

Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area usually begins 2-3 weeks after the new sewer line has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
