Kenwood Drive East Emergency Sewer Manhole Repair Project

JEA crews will be repairing a failing sanitary sewer manhole near the intersection of Kenwood Drive East and Wilson Boulevard.

Work Schedule

Crews will be working Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and in some circumstances weekend and extended hours may be necessary.

Conditions During Construction

Construction will occur in the City’s streets, rights-of-way and easements. For the safety of our crews and the general public, a portion of the road will be temporarily closed at the intersection of Kenwood Drive East and Wilson Boulevard. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.    

Temporary Traffic Detour Route 

Traffic traveling west on Wilson Boulevard will turn right on Kenwood Drive East, left on Kenwood Drive North around to Kenwood Drive West and back to Wilson Boulevard. Traffic travelling east on Wilson Boulevard will turn left on Kenwood Drive West around to Kenwood Drive North, right on Kenwood Drive East back to Wilson Boulevard.  

Restoration of the Project Area

Restoration of the project area will begin after the sanitary sewer manhole has been installed, tested, cleared for use and the dewatering system removed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
