Project Objective
A contractor working for JEA (Callaway Contracting, Inc.) replaced and upgraded a portion of failing sanitary sewer line on Key Haven Boulevard near the entrance to Bethesda Park. This repair was necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves the area. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Work primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville streets, rights-of-way and easements.

Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the sewer line has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
