Knoll Drive Water Main Improvement Project

This project has been completed. Below is the information provided to customers prior to the project start date.

NOTE: Start and completion dates are subject to change. JEA crews will not work on City of Jacksonville holidays. In some circumstances, night, weekend and extended hours may be necessary. Completion date does not include restoration of the project area. 

JEA will be upgrading and replacing the existing water main on Knoll Drive from    Rolling Hills Drive to Hillock Drive East. This work will also include the installation of one (1) new fire hydrant. When completed, this project will increase water pressure and provide improved system reliability. 

Construction Conditions:

Construction will occur in the City’s rights of way, streets and easements.  There will be times when the road will have limited access while the water main is being installed.  JEA will maintain the flow of traffic, although residents may experience some minor delays.

Water Outages:

Some customers will experience minor interruptions to their water service.  JEA will notify customers 48 hours prior to any planned outages. Residents may also experience a brief (10 to 15 minutes) outage while crews transfer customers from the old water service to the new water service.

Restoration of Project Area:

Restoration of the project area will begin once the water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
