Project Objective
JEA crews extended a portion of sanitary sewer main on Lakeside Drive near San Juan Avenue. This work was necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves the area. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Work primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way and easements. For the safety of our crews and the general public, we were required to temporarily close and detour traffic on Lakeside Drive near the intersection of San Juan Drive and Lakeside Drive while this work was completed. Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the project has been completed. Any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
