Leo Maguire Parkway Sewer Manhole Repair Project

Project Objective

A contractor working for JEA (Petticoat-Schmitt) recently completed the second phase of a project in your area to repair and replace sanitary sewer infrastructure that was either failing or had reached the end of its useful service life.  Failures to sewer manholes and lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.

The overall project involved replacing five (5) sanitary sewer manholes within an easement along Leo Maguire Parkway near Eagle Point Drive (near a drainage pond) and replacing a failing sewer manhole and attached sewer lines at the intersection of Leo Maguire Parkway and Stonehedge Trail Lane.

Contractor crews will be returning over the next few weeks to begin restoration of the project area (see work area map below). Any pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to their pre-construction condition.

Failures to sewer manholes and lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.

Construction Conditions

For the safety of the general public, the current temporary detour(s) will remain in place until restoration of the project area has been completed. Please observe all construction signs, detours and general directions provided by the crews working on-site.  We appreciate your continued patience during this important infrastructure repair project.
