Project Objective
JEA replaced and upgraded the existing water main on Lexington Avenue between Cassat Avenue and Stimson Street. This work also included the installation of two (2) new fire hydrants. This project will increase water pressure, provide improved system reliability and fire protection.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City’s rights of way, streets and easements.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
