Luana Drive East Sewer Improvement Project

Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Note: In some circumstances, weekends and extended hours may be necessary.
Project Objective
Crews replaced a portion of sanitary sewer main line near 2065 Luana Drive East and 2045 Luana Drive East from the sewer manhole to the JEA lift station. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
For the safety of our crews, we removed groundwater prior to excavation using a pumping system that operated continuously during the repair.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer main has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
