Project Objective
JEA completed installation of a new water main on Madison Avenue between Bassett Road and Belvedere Street. This work also included the installation of one (1) new fire hydrant. When completed, this project will increase water pressure and provide improved system reliability and fire protection.
Property owners along the water main installation route that are not currently connected to the JEA system will be eligible for connection once the water line has been tested and cleared for use. JEA will notify eligible property owners by mail once the water line is ready for connection.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City’s rights of way, streets and easements.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
