Manchester Road Water Improvement Project

This project has been completed. The below information was provided to residents within the project area prior to construction. Completion date does not include final restoration of project area.
Project Objective
JEA will be installing a new 6-inch water main on Manchester Road from Bayview Road to Hamilton Street. When completed, this project will improve water pressure and improve reliability.
Conditions During Construction
Construction will be done in the City’s rights of way and easements. There will be times when your road will have limited access while the water main is being installed. JEA will maintain the flow of traffic, although residents may experience some minor delays.
Water Outages
Some customers will experience minor interruptions to their water service. JEA will notify customers 48 hours prior to any planned outages. Residents may also experience a brief (10 to 15 minutes) outage while crews transfer your home from the old water service to the new water service.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the water lines are installed and have been tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
