Project Objective
A contractor working for JEA (TB Landmark Construction, Inc.) upgraded a portion of a sanitary sewer force main located on the Pickett Bridge on Old Kings Road between Walser Road and Walter Road. This work was necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer mains can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.
Project Area Map
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the sewer line has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be restored.
Even Better Power Reliability
JEA's state-of-the-art technology identifies customers and neighborhoods in need of electric reliability improvements.
