Project Objective
In the next few days, JEA will begin work upgrading and replacing the existing sewer pump station located at the end of Oxford Forest Drive. This new station will be more efficient, reliable, and will improve the overall functionality of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood.
Tree Trimming and Restoration of Project Area
To complete this work, a contractor working for JEA will be required to trim some limbs from a large tree right next to the existing pump station. Once the tree trimming has been completed, JEA crews will begin the removal of old equipment and demolition of the existing pump station building. JEA will then be able to rebuild the pump station in it’s current location. Upon completion of the work, JEA will restore the construction area with a new driveway as well as grass and fence/landscape the new pump station property.
