Pangola Drive Water Main Extension Project

Project Objective
JEA crews will soon be working in your area to extend an existing water main on Pangola Drive from Woodcrest Road to the dead end of Pangola Drive. This water project is being completed and paid for at the request of property owners on Pangola Drive.
Construction Areas
Construction will primarily occur in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way and easements.
Construction Conditions
For the safety of our crews and the public, Pangola Drive from Woodcrest Road to the dead end of Pangola Drive will be temporarily closed while crews are actively working. The roadway will be reopened at the end of each workday. Please see the project area map below.
Residents will be provided access to their driveways and will be permitted to drive (with caution) through the work area. There may be times when driveways are temporarily blocked while crews are working directly in front of homes or businesses. Crews will knock on doors to provide time to move vehicles prior to blocking any driveways. Please observe all construction signs, detours and general directions provided by the crews working on-site.
6/5/24 - Project Update - Night Work & Intersection Closure Required
For the safety of our crews and the public, we will be required to temporarily close the intersection of Pangola Drive and Woodcrest Road to through traffic overnight while crews complete work to tie in the new water main to the existing water main. Please see the project work area map below.

Some customers may experience minor interruptions to their water service. JEA has already notified impacted customers of any planned water outages associated with this night work.

Some customers may experience minor interruptions to their water service. JEA will notify customers at least 48-hours prior to any planned water outages.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin soon after the project has been completed. Any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
