Park Street Sewer Improvement Project

This project has been completed. Below is the information provided to customers prior to the project start date. 

Project Objective

JEA has completed replacement of a failing 8-inch failing sanitary sewer line on Park Street from Post Street to the I-95 overpass (across from Riverside Park). 

This sewer installation was completed using the pipe bursting method of construction that allows for less construction  impacts to neighborhoods and a shorter overall project duration.

Construction Areas

Construction will occur along the City of Jacksonville’s streets and rights-of-way.

Construction Conditions

This construction will not impact the Riverside Trolley, Riverside Avondale Luminaria event or activities at Riverside Presbyterian Church.

Restoration of Project Area

Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, trees, grass, curb, or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
