Project Objective

JEA crews are currently replacing a 100-foot section of a failing sanitary sewer main on Powell Place. The replacement of this sewer line has been made more challenging due to storm water pipe conflicts as well as the high water table and tides associated with the proximity of Powell Place to the St. Johns River. This will limit the amount of time crews are able to work onsite and will extend the normal time table for the installation of the sewer line

Construction Conditions

Construction will occur in the City’s rights of way and easements. Please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the JEA crews working onsite. We apologize in advance for delays caused by this work.

Restoration of Project Area

Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer main has been installed and the dewatering system removed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
