Prellie Street Emergency Sewer Main Repair

Roads Affected

Oriely Drive East, Oriely Drive West, Prellie Street

Project Objective

JEA crews will be replacing a section of a failing sanitary sewer main located on Prellie Street. The existing sewer main is deep and will require extensive dewatering to remove the ground water prior to any work.

Construction Conditions

Construction will occur in the City’s rights of way and easements. JEA crews will be will be required to close Prellie Street from Oriely Drive East to Oriely Drive West while construction is in progress. These closures are necessary for the both the safety of the workers and the general public.

Residents who reside within the project boundaries will be provided access to their homes and are permitted to drive (with caution) within the construction area.

Please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the JEA crews working onsite. We apologize in advance for delays caused by this work.

Restoration of Project Area

Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer manhole has been installed and the dewatering system removed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
