Price Street Emergency Sewer Project

Project Objective
JEA repaired failing sanitary sewer line on Price Street between Park Street and Chelsea Street. This repair was necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves the neighborhood. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way and easements. For the safety of our crews and the general public, we were required to temporarily close and detour traffic around the work area while this project was completed. Please see the work area map below.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will typically begin 2-3 weeks after the project has been completed. Any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
