Queen's Harbour Boulevard, Princess Kelly Drive

Project Objective

JEA expects to complete repairs to the sewer manhole located on Queen’s Harbour Boulevard on Friday, November 7, 2014.  The road will be temporarily patched and final paving scheduled prior to Thanksgiving. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we completed the required work.  Please feel free to call the JEA Project Outreach hotline at 665-7500 if you have any further questions or concerns.

JEA crews will be making emergency repairs to a failing sanitary sewer manhole located near 797 Queen's Harbour Boulevard. Construction will occur along Queen’s Harbour Boulevard near Princess Kelly Drive.

Failures to sewer manholes can potentially cause major sewer back-ups and unsafe road conditions. JEA crews will be working as quickly and safely as possible to make the necessary repairs.

Construction Conditions

Traffic delays should be expected as only one lane of traffic will be open in this area while construction is in progress. JEA will provide a one-lane flagging (2 flagmen) operation along Queen's Harbour Boulevard to maintain traffic during the construction. The flagging operation will continue 24 hours a day until the project is completed.

These road closures are necessary to complete the work and for the safety of the workers and the general public. Please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the JEA crews working onsite.

We apologize in advance for any traffic delays caused by this work. Residents should plan an extra 10 - 15 minutes in their commute.

Restoration of Project Area

Restoration of the project area will begin soon after the sewer manhole has been installed and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition. This restoration work usually occurs within 2 weeks of the completion of the construction.
