San Jose Boulevard (SR-13) Water and Sewer Improvement Project

Project Objective
A contractor working for JEA has completed installation of new water and sanitary sewer infrastructure primarily along the west side of San Jose Boulevard/Hendricks Avenue (SR13) from Cornell Road to San Marco Boulevard. This work was completed ahead of a future Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) resurfacing and roadway project. These upgrades will provide better system reliability for JEA customers.
Restoration of the Project Area and Paving
Restoration of the project area began soon after the pipes were installed, tested and cleared for use Any existing grass, curb, gutter, driveways, or sidewalks affected during construction were returned to their preconstruction condition. FDOT will schedule the final milling, paving and restriping of this area following their future roadway project.
