Estimated Dates & Work Schedule
Anticipated End Date: 2023-12-07
Scheduled work hours are 10pm to 5am. This work is being completed overnight to avoid high traffic periods.
Project Objective
JEA crews repaired sections of a failing sanitary sewer main located on St. Johns Avenue between Bayard Place and Cherry Street. This work was necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer mains can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the project has been completed. Any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
