St. Johns Golf Drive Sewer Pump Station Improvement Project
Project Objective
JEA completed a project to upgrade the existing sanitary sewer pump station at 311 St. Johns
Golf Drive. This work included replacing necessary valving and piping at
the station, replacing the station’s main gate, and landscaping (as needed) around the facility.
This project was
necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves the area. Failures to sewer systems can potentially cause major sewer
back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Work occurred within St. Johns County rights-of-way and easements, and primarily within the gates of the pump station.
