Project Objective
JEA crews upgraded and replaced the existing water main on Signet Street, Trout River Terrace and Kenyon Street. These sections of water main had reached the end of their useful service lives and were proactively replaced to ensure the reliability of the water system that serves your neighborhood. This project will provide increased water pressure and improved system reliability.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the new water lines have been installed, tested and cleared for use. Any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
