W. Church Street and N. Myrtle Avenue Emergency Sewer Repair Project

NOTE: Start and completion dates are highly subject to change, and in some instances weekend and evening hours may be necessary. JEA crews will not work on JEA holidays.
Project Objective
JEA crews completed emergency repairs to a portion of the sanitary sewer line near the intersection of West Church Street and North Myrtle Avenue. This portion of sewer line had reached the end of its useful service life and required repaired to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves the area. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in the City of Jacksonville rights of way, roads and easements.

Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the new water and sewer main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
