Westmont Street Sewer Improvement Project

This project has been completed. Below is the information provided to customers prior to the project start date.
Project Objective
JEA crews will be replacing a 200-foot portion of a failing sanitary sewer main and installing a new sewer manhole near 2325 Westmont Street between Westmont Street and San Diego Road.
Conditions During Construction
Construction will occur in the City’s streets, rights-of-way and easements. For the safety of our crews and the general public, please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the crew.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer main and manhole have been installed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
