Project Objective
In the next few weeks, JEA electric crews will be working on Wonderwood Drive from Mt. Pleasant Road to Girvin Road installing the power poles, power lines and infrastructure required to temporarily serve our electric customers during a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) drainage project scheduled from May 2015 - October 2015.
The FDOT contractor will be required to remove a portion of the existing underground electric infrastructure to install new drainage lines and structures. The temporary power lines will provide power to our customers along Wonderwood Drive for the duration of the FDOT project.
Once the FDOT drainage project is completed, JEA will return to make repairs to the underground electric facilities and remove the temporary power poles and lines.
