Spring Glen Emergency Sewer Repair Project

Project Objective
JEA crews replaced a portion of failing sanitary sewer main near 4626 Spring Glen Road. Failures to sewer mains can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues. Completion of this project will increase the reliability of the sewer system in the area and help prevent future sewer main breaks.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City’s streets, rights of way and easements. For the safety of our crews and the general public, a portion of Spring Glen Road was temporarily closed between Kingsley Place and Spring Park Road. See work area and detour map below.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will typically begin 2-3 weeks after the sewer line has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
