Availability Requests
- Single family homes have a flow of 250 gallons per day (GPD)
- Check the F.A.C. for the estimated flows that best matches your commercial establishment.

- Please make the project name the address of your home or business, with the business name included

Main extensions will require plans submitted to the JEA Development Team by your engineer. Your engineer will walk you through the development process. Once plans are approved your contractor will install the main extension and you will dedicate the work to JEA to maintain. If the extension is less than 500 LFT, you may request a Special Estimate Determination for the cost of JEA to do the work.
Development Projects

- Once registered in SagesGov, from the home page select Step 1, then select Hydrant Flow Test Application.
In most instances you will receive a response within 10 business days of your request being submitted. If you would like to request the status of your request you can email jeadevelopment@jea.com
If any of the following criteria are the reason for the new letter request, please request to update your existing availability letter in Step 1 of Sagesgov.com.
- Expired
- Address change
- Flow Change
- Always verify your sewer service location prior to abandoning your septic tank
- When you can’t find your sewer service lateral, JEA can do this for you for a fee
- JEA will send a crew out and camera the line, identify where your sewer service lateral is, and paint its location on the ground. If no sewer service is found you will be notified
- Open an account with SagesGov.com/JEA at https://www.jea.com/Engineering_and_Construction/SagesGov/
- Once registered in SagesGov, select Step 1, then select Sewer Locate Application, after the fee is paid, JEA will send a crew to perform the locate.
- Locate is marked generally within 10 business days of processing the application and payment

- Include your project availability number
Low pressure sewer-alternative sewer option when gravity sewer flow cannot be obtained to serve a residential customer.
- Login to your account SagesGov.com/jea-fl
- From your worklist select the project you are inquiring about
- Select Explorer from the blue bar on the left and you will see a list of what has been submitted.
- For details select History from the blue bar.
- Alternative Connection Committee
- Made up of W/WW and Planning Directors
- Meet to review requests for alternative water and sewer option requests
- For requests to be put on the ACC agenda please email the request, plans and reasoning/justification for request to wsedevprojrequests@jea.com
- You will be contacted by a member of the JEA development team to discuss your request
- You will be notified of the planned meeting date
- You will be provided a letter outlining the ACC’s response to your request within 5 business days following the meeting

After your project has been accepted it will be released for meters
- After your as-builts have been approved, your water and/or sewer permits have been cleared AND you have provided the JEA development team with a complete project acceptance package

- All project infrastructure must be installed
- As-builts need to be approved, an approval letter will be provide
- Permit COC applications can then be submitted with the as-built approval letter to JEA to be cleared
- JEA does not issue temporary water meters
