1411659846 (IFB) Blacks Ford Package Plant Site Work
The purpose of this solicitation for Blacks Ford Package Plant Site Work (this "Solicitation") is to select a vendor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services and incidentals to provide improvements that will support placing the existing package plant back into operation. The Contractor will be required to coordinate work and startup activities with DAVCO, a division of Evoqua. DAVCO will be under a separate contract to renovate, modify and improve the existing facility. The Contractor will be responsible for the infrastructure to pump wastewater to and from the package plant, and DAVCO will be responsible for the process performance as specified herein, and in specification section 11660 – Modifications to the Existing Field-Erected Wastewater Treatment System. The purpose of this solicitation is to purchase four (4) fixed diesel pumps (also referred to as the "Work" or "Services"). The Company shall furnish four (4) self-contained, automatic standby pony pump systems as specified herein and according to established JEA Standards. The self-contained emergency system shall consist of a motor and pump unit, which shall start and stop automatically utilizing float switches in the wet well. The Company shall furnish fuel tank, sound attenuated aluminum pony pump set enclosure, and all accessories necessary for a complete and operable installation. All materials shall be new unless specifically called for otherwise. Diesel engine driven pony pump shall be of the latest commercial type and design with all necessary equipment and shall be in accordance with all applicable sections of JEA’s Water and Wastewater (W/WW) Standards. Construct a 100'x125' PEMB warehouse to store capital spare turbine parts per the specifications, drawings, etc. provided herein. Contractor will be required to perform all aspects of construction project including civil, structural, electrical, plumbing and fire protection associated with new building. Contractor shall have experience performing construction in a power generation facility.
