JEA electric crews and teams from utilities across Florida will showcase their skills at this annual competition hosted by JEA and the Florida Municipal Electric Association.
JEA crews who support our community and teams from utilities across Florida will showcase their skills at the annual Florida Lineman Competition. Hosted by JEA and the Florida Municipal Electric Association, this free, family-friendly event will highlight the technical skills, safety techniques and superior efficiency electric lineworkers use every day.

What The Event Will Include
- Competitions for lineworkers to test their skills handling downed wires, changing out electrical transformers and rescuing injured coworkers.
- Kids Zone play area
- Vendors/food trucks
- Opportunity to speak with JEA representatives
Through the competition, crews develop teamwork strategies, share valuable knowledge and build strong relationships, which benefit us all.
