Alcazar Avenue Sewer Improvement Project

This project has been completed. Below is the information provided to customers prior to the project start date.
Project Objective
JEA crews will be installing a sanitary sewer tap near 3941 Alcazar Avenue. For the safety of our crew, this work will require the removal of ground water with a pump system prior to construction.
Conditions During Construction
Construction will occur in the City’s streets, rights-of-way and easements. For the safety of our crews and the general public, a portion of the road will be closed near 3941 Alcazar Avenue. Please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the crew.
Detour Route
Traffic traveling east on Alcazar Avenue will turn left on Alhambra Drive North, left on Barcelona Avenue, left on Granada Boulevard and left on Alcazar Avenue.
Traffic traveling west on Alcazar Avenue will turn right on Granada Boulevard, right on Barcelona Avenue, right on Alhambra Drive North and right on Alcazar Avenue.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer tap has been installed and the de-watering system removed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
