Anniston Road, Arnold Road, Bradley Road, Byrnes Road, Feathers Court
Project Objective
JEA has replaced the existing water main on Anniston Road from Bradley Road to Byrnes Road due to multiple main breaks in recent months. This work also included the installation of three (3) new fire hydrants. When completed, this project will provide improved system reliability and fire protection.
Construction Conditions
Construction will be done in the City’s rights of way and easements. There will be times when your road will have limited access while the water main is being installed. JEA will maintain the flow of traffic, although residents may experience some minor delays.
Water Outages
Some customers will experience minor interruptions to their water service. JEA will notify customers 48 hours prior to any planned outages. Residents may also experience a brief (10 to 15 minutes) outage while crews transfer your home from the old water service to the new water service.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the water lines are installed and have been tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
